Ottoman Empire literally winning by doing absolutely nothing.

Also from the comment section: "Reminds me when US marines and Canadian troops (34000 soldiers) launched an attack to concur Kiska (an Alutian island) from the Japanese who had withdrawn 18 days earlier. In spite of that they succeeded to kill 314 comrades -- its called friendly (sic) fire. And Im sure there are many more examples of "dumb" battles."

lol was this a thing?
American and Canadian forces landed on opposite sides of Kiska and mistook one another for the enemy. There were about 30 friendly fire deaths, and a further 70 deaths when a destroyer hit a Japanese mine in the harbor.

Don't get your history from internet comments.
