With Delta this would definitely a bad faith argument. I was calling out people making that comparison in 2020 for being idiots and they were. With Omicron though its a more fair comparison. Especially in the UK where the massive increase in cases has not seen a similar upswing in hospitalisations. In the US I appreciate less people are vaccinated so context is import.
