So I need to go ahead and thank all the time I put into the original Windjammers because what took me several months to plat in that game took me a single day to pull off in the sequel.

Windjammers 2 introduces a few new mechanics to the gameplay that makes it less of a fun party game with fighting game mechanics to more definitely in that "this is a game for serious fighting game fans" type of game. Beyond that it's essentially a remake of the original game with a new art style, more playable characters and more courts. Finishing Arcade Mode on Hard is still ridiculously difficult, although maybe a tad easier now just because it's only 5 stages instead of 6 and if you play well you can earn up to 3 extra continues (you start with 0). I still needed all of those continues in my final match though to pull it off.

I'll still be playing online for sure from time to time although it's not super active on PS4 because you have to buy it there while it's free on Game Pass, but hey I'm 9-0 so far in online matches so I'm not going to complain @_@
