Honestly, I wish I could try out all these cars before I buy. I believe almost nothing you read in the car magazines will tell you WHY you would like to own and use a sports car. Furthermore, even if one of these things were donated to me, it would become nothing more than a huge financial liability: Another car I have to pay insurance for, pay sports-car-maintenance costs for, even under insurance I'll never get the full value back if it's totaled in a disastrous car wreck (I've lost 2 sedans that were totaled in wrecks that weren't my faultI was in bed when someone slammed into one of them!), and lastly, the false dream of owning a sports car in the poor South: authoritarian cops around EVERY SINGLE CORNER waiting to catch you doing 5 over, impoverished roads that are horrible to drive on, even worse to drive over with a sports car's suspension and tires, and crime that will take it all away. Kind of reminds me of Jesus saying: Don't gather up treasures on earth, where rust will rot, and thieves will break in and steal. But store up treasures in heaven, where rust does not rot, and thieves don't break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

I still like sports cars, because I'm a boy. But I don't want to be a fool whose heart is filled with metal. A real, genuine blessing would be wife and kids. That'd be grand.
