I've always found it funny how it somehow gets this "masterful plot* tier placement when in reality it real is just a whiney kid who is surrounded by hot girls trying to fight in a giant Mecha. I hate mecha shows and unfortunately, this one didn't do much for me. I mean, since I hate the genre really, it DID make it more..... palettable to me, but even with that it was just confusing and all around meh. The music was alright though. (Honestly, I feel like mech shows in general have amazing music. Even this one is just okay in that regard) The only mech show I was able to enjoy was Full Metal Panic, and that's only because I watched Fumoffu first and fell in love with Sousuke's character.
