She is honestly just trying to see if you are a dog person because that is an important part of her life. Chances are she dated someone that put up with her dog and ultimately was faking it and it didn't work out. Unless she has a chihuahua you should be able to win over a dog. If you can't be nice to a dog you honestly don't deserve a companion anyways. Chihuahua's are aggressively defensive about their owners though, and if she has one of those I would tread carefully because some will bite to draw blood the moment anyone gets near their human. --- Hanananananana!
