So, I like to hunt the shiny Pokmon. There were tons of websites claiming that, in order to get the shiny charm, you need to capture the 150 mon in the sinoh dex.

Okay, that was a bitch to even do. Many of them involved putting honey on trees and shaking them (every six hours) with less than a 5% chance of getting what you need. Got to get both genders of them, too. One involved finding a fish that spawned in one of four random squares in a massive lake with a low chance, then you had to mix poffins to increase its beauty. Seriously? Then you had to run around getting massages (one per day) for probably 5-8 different ones. Well, I managed to do it all.

Then I read that you need to catch almost 500 of them. Many of these require you to use evolution stones, do events, swarms (which takes several weeks to even find them) and catch at least a dozen legendaries which each involve throwing tons of ultra balls, which cost a ton of money.

Also note that the trade community is practically dead compared to Sword and Shield when they came out. I only managed to complete the massive Pokdex in those games because I traded online. Oh, also I should note that Pokmon home isnt even available, so I cant send them to myself, even if I was willing to pay the money. They cant be bothered to include Pokmon home, but they can pull out all stops to make an update to fix any kind of fun exploit that helps you to avoid some of the tedious bs that they made.
