I don't think they care about the numbers. The push for a long time has been that you get vaccinated and if you get COVID it's either extremely rare or your own fault for being unvaccinated. Omicron has thrown a wrench in that but there's an overall resignation. The political benefit to this is that they don't have to compete with Trump on it because he'd do the same thing. If Democrats don't do lockdowns or restrictions, what can Trump even argue he'd do differently? (I mean it doesn't matter if it makes sense he's going to say some ridiculous boast people will believe anyways but whatever) --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! ...
