Topic | Hey Trekkies, when does DS9 get good? |

I'd say honestly the pilot (Emissary) is really good, as well as a few S1 like Duet you mention, the one with "I am Tosk!" Captive Pursuit, Babel, the finale with S2 has even more good episodes than the first. The Circle trilogy stuff is great as is Necessary Evil (a real standout piece for Odo). The Wire is an early Garak showcase and then you have Blood Oath which features 3 TOS Klingons reprising their roles in a revenge mission with Dax. Towards the end of the season you have a super important episode that starts to show The Dominion, which will become integral to the rest of the entire series. For my money from S3+ it's amazing, but I wouldn't write off the first 2 seasons at all because there's a lot of character development and world building that's very important. TNG on the other hand, is good (3rd best series imo) and doesnt start being worth watching until mid season 3 TNG Season 3 is the best season of any Trek show, period. I'd still rate DS9 overall as being better, but nothing beats TNG S3 (3-6 is all excellent!) Judgmenl posted... Lower Decks is the best Star Trek series, don't @ me bros. Of the newer crap, Lower Decks is the best by far. I actually look forward to seeing it, as opposed to looking forward to them finally canceling Picard and Discovery. --- Equin 2: The Warren Peace- Out now!
