Topic | oculus quest 2 question |
monkmith 01/04/22 3:35:28 PM #6: | many of the games on the oculus store will run stand-alone, no PC required to play them. if you're buying the games on steam you're not buying the stand-alone versions, you have to run them off a pc. Willy_Lopez posted... Its a standalone unit with its own processor.you dont need oculus brand link cable, look on amazon and you can find a much cheaper USB-C cable that'll work just fine for it. once you've got one it'll play PCVR games as well as any other VR headset, the limiting factor then is your PC. the best thing about PCVR on the quest 2 is you can get virtual desktop (or use airlink though its still crap) to stream games from your pc to the headset over your wifi. makes the quest 2 the only truly wireless PCVR setup. --- Taarsidath-an halsaam.
