For added context, the last time we hung out was the 13th

We had plans for more stuff but she had to isolate for several days because she had developed cold symptoms and had a close contact with someone who may have had COVID.

She ended up being fine, and when we spoke on Christmas she apologized for not coming over and that "Work is hell, I'm mentally exhausted and just lie in bed not moving, I sleep all day/night"

Then developed cold symptoms again on boxing day, so that was a no go for hanging out.

I guess that gets back to her being bad at confronting emotions. It does suck, and yeah now that I understand your relationship better it does seem odd she couldnt throw you a courtesy text.

But again, it doesnt reflect on you at all. Im constantly dropping out of text conversations with no explanation whatsoever even with my closest friends and family and it doesnt say anything negative about them at all, its just me and my own dumb brain not letting me keep up relationships.

Now I'm self conscious that I may have pushed a bit too hard in sending followup messages lol
