Is any fine artist in this current generation mainstream? Only artists everyone know are the likes of Picasso, Andy Warhol and Da Vinci from the old days. Famous visual artists never become popular like Taylor Swift or Drake in the music sector. The only time they make it in the mainstream is when they do silly crap like tape a banana to a wall or name a blank canvas take the money and run.
