You're supposed to lose (the game even gives you the option to surrender) and then you get thrown in prison and either have to escape yourself or be rescued by your friends That's obviously what the devs intended But you can just win the fight and skip the entire prison section. Bioware put a lot of (quite funny) dialogue and effort into a quest you can just not do instead of just having a cutscene where you all die I appreciate that --- When the going gets tough, the tough go have a little cry in the corner.
