Can't remember what that was, but I can only imagine it was Ludwig's greatsword spam with little care to mixing up other forms/weapons. I think when I finally got him I switched to hunter's axe spin to win spam after seeing it knocking him down or something. Ludwig's blade is definitely the most OP weapon in BB because of its high stat rapier-form and thrust bonus against arcane/celestial types. I was doing the same thing against him until I gave up and switched to the Saw Cleaver because it was faster against Logarius.
