Yeah, that's the problem with depression and anxiety. Logic can tell you things are great, but the brain doesn't want you to believe it. It's a curse.
If you're trying to do some carpentry and all your measuring devices are skewed you're gonna have a rough time building a table.

It's the same with mental illness, the very tool you use to measure your world is skewing perception.

That's one of the aspects of mental illness that the "it's all in your head" crowd doesn't understand: no shit, that's the problem.

You're doing good work, TC. It's a form of mindfulness that helps some people tremendously.

Doesn't work for everyone but when it does it's quite effective.
