I definitely want to go into my first playthrough of the game completely vanilla. After I see how it works and figure out what I want to mod is when I'll experiment. I'm excited, been wanting to try Stardew for some time now. I'm glad, it'll suck up hours of your life if you enjoy it. My wife was apprehensive about trying it for years because she didn't care for the retro 16-bit art style as, she didn't grow up with games. Turns out, all I needed to do to encourage her was buy her a Switch, have her be disappointed with Animal Crossing's depth (before the big update not too long ago) and want for something new but somewhat similar.
