Once we map the correct gestures to the corresponding inputs, we don't need real holograms, and you can wear AR goggles that adjust to your commands, depicting a false monitor with keyboard similar to wat we have seen in movies like Minority Report or Far From Home. Somewhere, someone in some lab is sculpting that tech the same way we jumped from SmaterChild to Siri one day. Just like that. Most people had a cell phone one day and an iPhone the next. Less of us played with the Kindles & pads. Even less of us had prototype smartphones. Maaaaaaybe you had the iPod Touch. Going straight to chip is another possibility.
