If you read his testimony he says he didnt see them until it was too late. He believed a turn at that speed would flip the vehicle.

Maybe Im asking too much but I just think as society we should be more empathetic. Its easy to say you should have done this, done that while sitting at home. Its not so easy while driving a multi ton vehicle at highway speeds with faulty brakes.

The guy made some poor choices but circumstances played a part. That needs to be taken into account and I really dont think it is.
