He's not wrong about what he said though, if you do some research what his bit was about is accurate. Someone that experiences a traumatic event was coined shellshocked. A two syllable impactful word, short and sweet that has more meaning to it than the jumbled mess of words post traumatic stress disorder.
Essentially nobody uses the full term with anything approaching regularity.

I graduated with a Bachelor's in Social Work in May, the full term was used maybe a dozen times.

Are the four syllables of "PTSD" too complicated, or can we keep using it?
