I just like dmc 3 the most. It simplistic and can be mashed like crazy. Dmc 4 is a lot harder to do mash stuff cuz inertia and stricter jc hitbox so i dont consider it a button masher. Dmc 5 vanilla feels too slow. Maybe dmc 5 se with turbo is much better tho. That said i noticed that in dmc 5 the usual jc+e&i+ sword rave/any other air attack was dropping the e&i inputs when i mashed; it work fine in dmc 3.

For dmc 5 i remember reading from dmc discord that there is a bit of input lag that occurs after jump cancel cuz somethint to do with added animation. It make sense to me
