Just got paid for my sick time I didn't use. They have nothing to throw against me. Jiek_Fafn posted... I'm not clear on the situation. Do you get a break but you just have to be around in case something comes up? Or are you just working the entire time and like eating a sandwich while you work? I can't leave my area. I mean I "can", but if someone calls me on the radio I have to be there to keep things running. So it's a working shift break like described on the Maryland labor website. I don't think they can deny me compensation for it. This has been eating away at me for too long. My 2 coworkers feel the same way but would never step up. --- This is where cool people write stuff. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
