Yeah TBH I'm sick and tired of the whole audience vs. critics mentality. They have always been a very broad guideline at best and nothing more, but also nothing less.

I'm also just personally fascinated by the whole fiasco surrounding this game, especially considering it was greenlit on Keiji Inafune's watch (lol) and seemingly went out of its way to alienate original series fans while attempting to chase a new audience who didn't care. Stupid GamesRadar argued that old Dante would have been laughed at had he debuted in 2013 instead of 2001 - even if that's true, it completely ignores the original built up fans who were into that stuff and would have gladly paid for more of it.
