Do pilots do a self check list before taking off? No? Didn't think so. Trucks are just as dangerous as airplanes. It should not be solely the driver's responsibility to ensure the truck is safe, let alone a driver that did not receive proper training or safety evaluations from the job itself. They do... and if anything goes wrong the captain is on the hook.
