Same here. I used to be super quiet and awkward. Wasnt until college when I really learned how to be social

Oddly its been jobs to gradually change me. Working fast food I learned to raise my voice cause kitchens are noisy and I was team leader and expected to run the kitchen. I had to communicate.

Prison has given me backbone and being able to have regular convos with just about anybody. Job can be boring and sometimes in stuck with a 68 year old black man while im a 33 year old white guy. Or I get stuck with a late 40s woman or a someone in their early 20s. Gotta make the night go by somehow and we aint allowed to bring in any form of entertainmenr like books. Thats one thing i love about this job. All sorts of different races religions political ideals etc. But due to the boredom of the job we put it aside and get along like we are friends or family
