Topic | Why do many people still not attend college? |
CableZL 12/20/21 12:11:09 PM #38: | supermichael11 posted... I do get jealous at those that finished college early, while it has been taking long for me to get the required qualifications. Yeah, when I went to college, I was still dealing with major health issues. I got viral meningitis the summer before 9th grade. I went from being an A and B student in the top 15% of my class to failing classes for the 1st time. I couldn't remember stuff that I had learned 20 minutes earlier at times. It wasn't until I was maybe 22 or 23 that I realized it was the medication they put me on to control the seizures that was causing the memory loss issues. And then they kept increasing the dosage as the years went on, so it got worse. When I was in college, it was crazy bad. I was always losing my cell phone because I would often forget where I put it.
All that on top of the fact that I was taking all prerequisite courses that had nothing to do with my major and I didn't care about any of them. I didn't want to spend another $13k for another year of all that. --- https://i.imgtc.com/d9Fc4Qq.gif https://i.imgtc.com/BKHTxYq.gif https://i.imgtc.com/vYYIuDx.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard! |
