Ys Origin (Switch)

Really solid and fun action RPG. I don't love it quite as much as Ys VIII, but it's also a far simpler title with less plot and its length comes from going through the same short game three times with a different character every time, so that is to be expected. I like how they all played differently and the game is smooth as butter as I've come to expect from Ys games having played two of them now. Not a game to play for the plot, it's there and it's serviceable (although it was immersion breaking for me to see characters behave differently at different points in the game depending on whom you're playing with), but definitely fun action and some great bosses as well. I think I paid ten euros for it and it was well worth it. Going through the tower three times was enough for me though.
