| Topic | Tom "5'8" Holland talks about height double standard |
| ClockworkHare 12/15/21 3:35:49 PM #10: | AdrianBeterson posted... According to this interviewer, it is "misogynistic" that we have these height standards. But isn't the correct term "misandristic", since it's women who perpetuate the height standards in M/F relationships?I really would not call it either, because it's a matter of preferences. And a person can have their preference WITHOUT it being innately rooted in hatred or fear. For example a guy who's generally polite and respectful towards female peers in his social circle is NOT automatically a woman-hater just because he's not interested in dating obese women. He can still have nontoxic platonic relationships with obese women. He's just not hopping on the gravy train to date them, he's looking for someone else for that (the same right that the women typically have). Implying he was automatically toxic for that would be also be saying that the women he passed up due to preference were entitled to his time and he somehow wronged them for not stepping up to give them a chance. Nobody's entitled to dates. Nobody's a monster for maintaining their preferences in the more intimate areas of their life. I do not hate on women having preferences for the men they're willing to date. That is their call. However, I'm never interested in listening to any of them bellyache when attractive guys don't call them back. It's the same deal either way. An intelligent well-grounded woman already understands this and does not waste her time bitching about it because she acknowledges women can have their specific preferences too. She understands what goes around can come around and demanding the rules be changed is another waste of time. --- Bite me like one of your French rolls. https://tryimg.com/u/2020/08/11/1tZ1gcH.jpg ...
