Yeah busboys do a lot of the work for serving a table, and they get paid less than servers.

I mean not really. Waiters/waitresses cleared a lot of the plates when the guests were done and the busboys cleared up whatever little stuff was left. If the servers arent clearing plates and finished items then thats on management, not the server.

But I always threw the busboy like a $20 or so every night, they cleared whatever little stuff was left on my tables first so Id get more tables.
