The issue is that he gets overused and it quickly becomes annoying in both films and the holiday special. Olaf is very much a character meant for kids despite making some quips that might go over most of their tiny heads, and I guess I'm a little too old to appreciate this kind of character now or his comedy doesn't strike the same chord with me.
