Long-overdue. Really excellent Metroidvania with retro visuals. You play an adventuring party entering an evil tower to destroy the source of poisoned water. Unbeknownst to the others, the party's mage has made a contract with the Titan of Death for the heroes to be revived endlessly until their quest is complete. When you die, you can shop for upgrades from the Titan and then get thrown back to the beginning of the game. However, everything you collected and did stays the same, so you progress by opening shortcuts and fast-travel points and getting new abilities. You also switch between your party members, who each have different abilities for combat and movement. The warrior has a sword that he can swing rapidly, the mage shoots a mid-range projectile that can pass through walls, and the rogue can wall-jump once per jump and fire a full-screen-length arrow. They get more abilities as you progress, a lot of which are specific to characters, so you switch a lot. Apparently based on the same thing as La-Mulana but not nearly as harsh.
