The biggest thing working against it is that it takes quite a while for the cast to assemble and start showing any amount of chemistry. As of episode 12, one of the main characters has still only had a face cameo, and we were only just barely introduced to another. Imagine if Polnareff didn't show up to Stardust Crusaders until a third-way through the series. (And keep in mind, starting with Part 4 these shows have been cranking up the pacing, compared to slow-ass Stardust.)

But the fights are still great, and once the cast settles in it's just as fun as any other part. The dynamic between Jolyne and the main villain is great. And once they finally move past the prison, it's a non-stop crazy train of hotness, culminating in one of the most fucking insane climaxes in the entire series. (Side note: if you don't know what happens, avoid spoilers like the plague. I mean it.)

We'll see! I know Steel Ball Run is fun.
