I like playing without it too. CRON posted... It seems like an immense chore and you have to strictly operate within the bounds of its rules and lore. I don't get why older millennials and boomers treat it like some fun social thing. you're mistaken. D&D has always had house ruling and people coming up with their own homebrew campaigns and campaign settings. The vast vast majority of my twenty years of playing D&D has been in campaign settings the D&D came up with. --- They have taken untold millions that they never toiled to earn But without our brain and muscle not a single wheel can turn ...
