Things are going pretty well for me. Like, other than this, things are really coming up for me. I've lost weight. I started a new job. I'm making the food I like for dinner every night.

But dude... she was my college sweetheart. She was my best friend. I loved her. I'm trying really hard to enjoy the good things in my life now, but they're all things I wanted to share with her.

It sounds like youre doing things right to get your life in order. I agree with Boban. Your perspective will change when youve been able to put some emotional and physical distance between you and your ex. Meeting new people could help with that, but thats your call. Whatever you do, dont fuck it up by going back to your ex. From then on, she will absolutely know she can do whatever she wants and yet youll be the one blaming yourself and forgiving her the next time it happens. Good luck.
