I never really did too much science outside of physical training effects on the body so i feel pretty defeated right now after the experiment i just did.

Try not to laugh too hard at me.

So i was trying to see if my phone would recognize a quartz crystal so i grabbed a charger cable and stuck one end to my phone. Then i took the crystal and duct taped it to the usb end with the metalic portion on the crystal. I opened up the notepad on my phone and waited to see if anything manifested to indicate a connection. 1 hour later. Nothing. When i grabbed the crystal i did begin to feel a vibration around my hand though. It was interesting experiencebut i failed to make the crystal connect to my phone or input anything on the notepad.

i know you are not supposed to give up on stuff quickly but i was hoping i would get the first try.
