As much as it's good to avoid jumping to conclusions, I don't think there's much chance that he isn't guilty. Short of "I had a stroke and passed out at the wheel," there isn't much you can say to claim innocence after driving through a crowd of people and killing several. The question is going to boil down to the nuances of how premeditated it was, but whether he's got six counts of murder 1 or six counts of vehicular manslaughter, I think it's a given that he's going to be spending the rest of his life in prison.

It's more of I don't want to assume his motive for doing so. I really want to give him every benefit of the doubt because I want what I suspect is his motive to be wrong.
