Hard carriers are typically easier to get the cat in and is more stable. I'd just put a towel down for padding.

I have three water dishes that flow through charcoal filters. I think if I tried going back to a non flowing dish that my cats would kill me in my sleep.

My cats were absolutely terrified of the automatic litter box and just started shitting on the floor outside of it.

Actual fountains? Ive never seen those. Walter would love that. He's big on moving water. I had the auto water type thing but he doesnt like old water so it was pointless since I had to replace the water daily anyways. Also after a coupla years of him training me he now exclusively drinks from a glass mug thats left on the bathroom counter because if its not always there and fresh he drinks whatever the hell he finds me drinking. So a fountain might be a good thing to try.

Hard cat carrier easily imo. Just all around better for actually transporting them including better for the cats in my experience.

Dont have any experience with an automatic litterbox but I feel like some cats would be fine, some would get scared shitless and maybe not wanna use it if it went at the wrong time, and some would probly obsess with it and maybe try to fight it (ie my cat).

Thanks guys I have one hard carrier already, need to get a second and was wondering whether to get one of each. I see them drinking water but wasn't if I needed to be concerned as I've heard indoor cats might not drink enough (love Walter training you btw). Scooping the litter box daily is annoying so I was hoping an automatic would solve it but I have two poop generating voids...
@apolloooo didn't you get a flowing water fountain?
