X-Men 2 is an incredibly boring film for what it is. At the end of the day, it misses the point of the original... Which was low-key that the X-Men were a secret mutant-saving taskforce who picked up orphans across the world in a government stealth jet.. and they get a chance to be heroes when Magneto surfaces. They were never supposed to be in the situations 2 places them in and it shows.

Ghost Rider was awesome but it dropped the ball in the final act. It ended up being worse than Fantastic Four solely on account of Blackheart. They were going for this whole evil Anakin vs demonic Tim Allen thing. When they had a perfectly good setup for a bloodbath and they knew it. Studio interference and budget cuts based on dailies I'm guessing. The 4th quarter needed to be Spirit of Vengeance. Everything after the fog swamp is rushed trash.
