So all the footage I saw of Kyle made it easy to attempt and paint him as a victim especially if you only pay attention to the video.

The footage of the drive by lynching is very clear in regards to who is the aggressor and who is the victim. The men pursue a fleeing man, strike him with their truck, physically assault and then murder him when he attempt to defend himself. I know there exist good lawyers who can attempt to argue black is white, but there is an uphill battle for them to make any sort of argument claiming they are victims. I personally don't recall having seen anything attempt to defend them.

Additionally I haven't heard about any suspicious behavior from the judge of this case like there was from the judge of Kyles case who was very clearly biased. Though that could just be because there is very little reporting on the trial.
