Not really, though I do feel like it's hard to beat the heart with Defect without focus. You can do it, but on higher ascensions you really need to be able to build up that block. Ironclad can do it with Feel No Pain, Silent can use Footwork or After Image and Watcher has stuff like Nirvana or Mental Fortress, or Talk to the Hand. Defect?
