De-stigmatizing pedophilia, the mental condition many believe is brought on by childhood trauma, so that more people seek treatment before they commit a terrible act, isn't saying, "It's okay to be a molester'. No, but the stigmatization should still be there because of the danger it leads to and the perverse nature. Because thats all it is. Perverted and twisted. There is no amount of reasoning you can come up with to dispute that at all. Edit: If you don't stigmatize pedophillia, why would a pedophile seek help? He/she would believe its not as bad as people once thought it was then. Again, this will have a huge negative effect and it will just lead to it being normalized like a previous poster said. --- ...
