I don't get shoe culture imagine it as a combo collecting baseball cards, collecting artwork, and fashion pieces. the original sneakers people where really collecting, was based on nba players and their achievements, and from their it spread out of other athletes and artist and their Achievements. from their they became a fashion piece and then a medium for art and story telling, now the most prized sneakers tell a story or are wearable art. my favorite release I own, the Parra dunks was done by a European (I wanna say Amsterdam ) artist and print he commonly uses in his art, its specifically done on a dunk as a way to honor that skateboarding so an Olympic sport for the first time. --- we rich now but used to be slaves,we pushing whips now we used to be whipped,rockin chains when we used to be in 'em ...
