This little narrative adventure game ate me up in 2015. It has a ton of intrigue that led to a lot of theorycrafting about what was actually happening, and that meta-game made it feel like more than just a quick episodic adventure. Life is Strange offers this awful-yet-nostalgic view of what high school was like, and despite it seeming miserable for everyone involved, that strange pull grounded it in a place that made it feel familiar and charming.

I'm not sure why, but I never played any of the Life is Strange sequels. I even bought one like 3 years ago and just never bothered. Sometimes I'm just good with a singular experience?
