The worker's Tiktoks recounting the events:

TL;DW:
  • The customer claims that the soup she was given was so hot that it melted the plastic into the soup itself. She was apologized to and offered a refund, but the customer only seemed interested in yelling and cussing at the worker.
  • The customer made multiple calls to the restaurant about this, but eventually she went back to the place to confront the worker in person.
  • The worker once again offers a refund and tries to deescalate the situation, but the customer ultimately throws the soup into the girl's face and immediately bolts.
  • Thankfully by then, the soup had cooled down so that it was just warm--the worker says that the spikes hit her much harder--and while she was processing what happened, a bunch of other customers and her coworkers rushed out after the woman to video her face and license plate. Meanwhile, the worker was helped by one of her coworkers as well as a Good Samaritan.
  • The worker is pressing charges.
  • According to the Reddit thread above, the angry customer left a negative review after this all happened of course making herself out to be the victim and misrepresenting the events that happened.
Man, the audacity of some people. Glad that this entitled beast will be facing the consequences of her actions.
