If Blight Town made you quit the rest of the game is much better, Blight Town is a huge "fuck you" area.

I used to hate and I mean HATE Blighttown. Especially the 360's "4 FPS" version. But once you realize that they put torches next to the ladders it's not too terrible. I will say that the intended way to go through it (from The Depths) is a lot harder than going in the back way (giggity). And thankfully those toxic dart guys don't respawn when you kill them either.

Honestly it's a bit controversial, but I think Dark Soul 3 is the best starting out game of the bunch. It's easier,

Oh Wolfy, hard disagree with you here. I thought DKS3 was the hardest of them all. I was able to get to the final castle after lots and lots of dying (and I do mean lots). I beat the first DKS1 a few times, I beat DKS2, but I don't know what it is but it's like your guy in DKS3 moves like the one in Bloodborne only you don't have the HP regain on counterattack mechanic. It seems like every enemy is way too aggressive and take a ton of hits to kill. And I even had really good weapons (Spiked Mace +9 / Dorthys' Gnawing spell, etc). But the thing about From games is what's impossible for one guy is easy for the next. The Watchers I think I died more than 30 times total easily. The Dancer took me a couple days. Eff those guys. But Pontiff Sulihan or w/e he is I beat on the second try, and that boss is supposed to be super difficult for many.
