I think that hate was either over exaggerated or just doesnt exist anymore, because Bulbasaur made top five in the poll for Kanto, losing only to Gengar and Charizard. Bulbasaurs more popular than Squirtle, at the least, and Id say is probably less hated than Charizard, since Charizard gets the shoved in your face kind of hate. Gengar probably is the answer, though its not as clear cut as it seems.
