So long as you covered yourself and gave him a fair chance I see no problem with canning him

I literally don't know what else to do other than driving 3 hours and showing up at his house with a laptop ready to go lol

I like how some are piling on TC, you dont have to make him out to be the bad guy in every situation just because you dislike him and his pitbull hate

It's fascinating how petty some adults choose to be

How do y'all not have a way to track employee time lmao

Again, we work remotely and set/choose our own hours. We have a way to track it, it's called filling out the timesheet/reports in ADP.

If the man is working, he must be paid. Even if it's against his will.

That is a terrible precedent to set though. "Don't worry about doing a huge part of the job guys, I'll just wing it and throw a number at you".

idk, I feel like some people on GFAQs just see red whenever anyone says they're an employer, lol.

Pretty sure that's HR's responsibility, if not the employer's responsibility.
Otherwise, wouldn't the employee bullshit his/her hours put on the job and potentially earn more $$$ simply because one couldn't track their employees # of hours put on the job???

And if he isn't returning our HR persons emails/phonecalls? Because he isn't lol.

I cannot stress this enough, he has completely ghosted us and we have zero oversight, it's a remote job. If someone knows another way I can get ahold of someone when text, email, phone has failed I'm listening
