Topic	What would you say are the hardest RPGs (Pre-PS1 Era)

Ultimas aren't too bad. They are mostly about exploration than combat difficulty. Probably closer to an adventure game than a RPG Wizardrys are middle the road in terms of difficulty, especially 6-8, since you can save and rest anywhere. 1 is pretty straight forward outside the psuedo permadeath, but there is a glitch you can use to avoid it.
