Yeah, because the title of club president seems to give whoever has it sentience. It's why when you ~~delete Monika at the start, you get Sayori having a mental breakdown before deleting everything including herself.~~ But that just proves Monika is torturing her friends despite them having some basic level of sentience. Something Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki all show throughout the story.
