To make it, you have to ignore all mythology about spirits and ghosts from non-white societies. >_> I feel Mooney's argument could be expanded to non-white cultures. Humanity has been fucking over each other over in the most grizzly and ghastly ways since before recorded history. There would be a hell of a lot more ghosts out there, especially angry ghosts who would be a problem for this society.
