I have some food for thought on two games that probably won't get much attention... WAS/DEN and ATL/CAR.

ATL/CAR is two up and coming offensive play callers (coaches not qbs) on each side, Brady and Arthur Smith. and speaking of, it's a matchup of two relatively new wildcard HCs, Smith and Rhule.

WAS/DEN might be a game between two non-playoff teams but it's looking like a pivotal affair for both sides that will reveal a lot. Washington has beaten Atlanta and the Giants, but the schedule besides that has been brutal so far - basically the packers last week and 3 potential afc super bowl teams, the bills, chiefs and chargers. After this week they have a bye and then the Bucs, but after that they get their whole NFC East schedule, so a win this week and the season is maybe still salvageable.

Whereas Denver has 3 wins against the Giants, Jets, and Jaguars to start the season, has lost their last 4, and hasn't had the ball with the lead since week 3 against the Jets. They get jerry jeudy back this week and their 4 game losing streak has come to the ravens, steelers, raiders, and browns, so OK, maybe those are mostly playoff teams but the Broncos still have the bengals left and the chiefs and chargers twice each so if they can't beat the Wofters, it might be over.
